Consumerism

• The impact consumerism has upon our lifestyle

There is no doubt that consumerism has a huge impact upon our life. Consumerism means fashion, shopping, publicity...That's the kind of things we see all around us.

Consumerism can ruin us and our family, because of the money that we spend or when it changes our personality, becoming more egocentric.

The aim of consumerism is judging people by their apearance, instead of their personality (nowadays it's more important to have than to be!) and it shouldn't be this way!

• The reasons that lead to consumerism

When we see all this consumerism around the world we feel tempted to adopte that lifestyle because we tend to copy richer countries (like USA) and their values. So when USA "created" this shopping fever, other countries tried to copy it.

That lead us to the problem that we face nowadays, at economical and environment levels.

• Arguments that defends Consumerism

Not everything is bad about consumerism...

Controled consumerism leads to the development of economy, because it forces the money to circulate and create jobs, creating richness alouding the countries to their development.
